The Arc Rapides’ mission is to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a place of work and enrichment. We are dedicated to creating, through education, advocacy, and support, a greater Central Louisiana community that includes, accepts, and celebrates people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

🌟 September 2025 Highlights 🌟

We’re excited to share all the wonderful events happening this month at our center!

• September 1 – Labor Day: The center will be closed in observance of the holiday.

• September 5 – Afternoon Gym Activity: Wiffleball fun for everyone!

• September 9–12 – Arc Football Camp: Morning practices from 9:00–11:00 AM.

• September 12 – August Awards Ceremony: Join us as we celebrate accomplishments from the past month.

• September 15 – Community Outing: Lunch at Wendy’s.

• September 19 –  Picnic at the Park!

• September 22 – Community Outing: Academy Sports + Outdoors.

• September 25 – Professional Development Day: Half day for all participants with dismissal between 10:30–11:45 AM.

• September 26 – Afternoon Gym Activity: September Birthday Party celebration!

• September 29 – Community Outing: Nature Trail adventure.

• Ongoing – Weekly activities include Art Class at River Oaks, Music Class with Mrs. Janes, Bingo, Bowling, SE Work Crews, Baseball Practice, and more!
