The Arc Rapides’ mission is to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a place of work and enrichment. We are dedicated to creating, through education, advocacy, and support, a greater Central Louisiana community that includes, accepts, and celebrates people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• 🥇 Bocce Practice & Summer Games – Our athletes prepare for competition and head to Hammond for Special Olympics Summer Games.
• ⛳ Annual Golf Tournament – A day of community, connection, and friendly competition.
• 🐷 Cochon de Lait Celebration – A delicious Louisiana tradition enjoyed by our participants.
• 🏆 April Awards Ceremony – Recognizing accomplishments and celebrating success.
• 🎂 May Birthday Party – Honoring our May birthdays with cake, fun, and laughter.
• 🏋️ Afternoon Gym Activities – Staying active with games, exercise, and team-building fun.
• 🌟 Community Life Engagement Outings – Daily opportunities for participants to explore, learn, and connect in the community.

• May 22: Bocce Team departs for Special Olympics Summer Games in Hammond, Louisiana.
• May 25: Center Closed in observance of Memorial Day.
